Moderation Policy
Effective Date: 10th September 2025
Last Updated: 10th September 2025
carblah is built on structured, honest reviews from real drivers. To keep the platform credible and constructive, we reserve the right to moderate submissions that breach our Contributor Guidelines or compromise the integrity of the data.
1. What we moderate
We may edit, decline to publish, or remove reviews that:
- Contain abusive, threatening, or discriminatory language
- Include false claims, impersonation, or misleading content
- Promote products, services, or paid endorsements
- Make sweeping generalisations (e.g. “all [brand] cars are dangerous”)
- Are off-topic, incoherent, or spam-like
- Violate intellectual property or legal standards
2. What we don’t do
- We don’t rewrite reviews to change meaning
- We don’t remove reviews just because they’re negative
- We don’t moderate based on brand sensitivity or commercial pressure
carblah is independent, anomaly-aware, and reviewer-first.
3. How moderation works
- Reviews are checked for compliance with our Contributor Guidelines
- Flagged reviews may be held for review before publication
- Contributors may be contacted if clarification is needed
- Repeat violations may result in suspension from submitting further reviews
4. Appeals and feedback
If your review is moderated and you believe it was unfairly flagged, you can contact us at hello@carblah.com. We'll review the decision and respond promptly.
5. Why it matters
Moderation isn’t censorship—it’s quality control. carblah exists to restore trust in automotive decision-making. That means protecting contributors, readers, and the integrity of the data.
