"Owners praise the Kuga Mk3 for its impressive fuel efficiency, reliability, and spaciousness. The modern styling and quality materials are appreciated, as is the well-integrated technology and usable boot space. Some drivers find the suspension too firm, especially with larger wheels, which affects ride comfort. Overall, this is an economical and genuinely reliable SUV that many would recommend."

Economy. Most of our local journeys can be done on battery power. When using the hybrid mode non motorway journeys can easily achieve 55mpg., sometimes in excess of 60mpg. Journeys at motorway speeds bring it down to late 40’s. This is incredible for a 2.5 litre petrol engine.
Suspension. The sport suspension is frankly much too hard and the ride is significantly worse than my previous model diesel Kuga with standard suspension and smaller wheels. Why can’t Ford offer adaptive suspension as an option or simply offer the choice of sport or standard suspension. The further up the range you go the wheels get bigger and the ride worse.
We are firm Ford fans. Mrs K and I both had cars with our jobs and we have had over 50 cars. Ford are at the top of the list for reliability. This Kuga is no exception. The only problem has been rodents chewing one of the electric cables. I suspect, but can’t prove it, that it was done before I purchased the car. (Purchased new) I think the car has a very clean look with little chrome, it is very economical and the safety systems are not intrusive. It is spacious and the seats are very comfortable. Overall I would give it 8 out of 10. If only the ride was better! I would have another but not with 19 inch wheels or sport suspension.
