Statement looks, high quality interior and entertainment.
Ride is harsh on varying road surfaces and complaints that its loud for rear passengers.
It is as we expected. A tall, safe feeling, capable car that is full of luxury. Running costs for a diesel are as to be expected but some complaints about road noise.

If you want / need a big 4X4 you can’t fault the Defender. 3 dogs, 2 kids, boat trailer, and loads of ‘stuff’ to haul about. Rural roads, snow, floods, or city traffic; it tackles them all. No other 4x4 I’d consider as an alternative right now.
Not the cheapest to run; but that’s my choice.
Good looks and good performance. The ultimate all-rounder.
