"Drivers praise the EQB’s nippy performance and good road holding for an electric SUV. However, they are disappointed by comfort levels, usability, and inconsistent software and infotainment controls. The practicality, quality, and boot space do not fully meet expectations, and reliability issues cause frustration. Owners feel that ergonomics and equipment could be improved, especially given the competition. Overall, the experience is mixed and may not live up to the brand’s reputation."

As it’s the highest-powered electric version, it’s pretty nippy and it’s road holding is quite impressive for an SUV
The infotainment system and interior controls are fiddly and frustrating to the point of distraction. Reach for a drink in the front cup holders and you’ll knock something (I don’t even know the point of it) that then resets the menu and you’ll spend 10 minutes trying to get back to where you were.
Underwhelming. It’s not quite big enough to be a seven seater. The range isn’t quite good enough for a long journey. It’s had a couple of minor breakdowns due to software updates - it doesn’t tell you it needs an update, it just stops working so you take it to a Merc dealership. Overall, the quality, equipment levels and ergonomics are not what you’d expect from Mercedes - I’ve been more impressed with Kias and Toyotas that I’ve had in recent years. Oh, and the ADAS systems will throw an emergency stop at very random points, and then not notice a genuine hazard. Luckily, I have the car on a Voltric subscription so I can hand it back - if I’d paid a big deposit and was locked in for years I’d be pretty upset.
