Practical, functional, and has most of the things you need a car to have. Pretty reliable for a used car.
a easier to use satnav system. Most of the time i use my phone on a mount. Newer versions of the golf have improved this.
Great hatch for families or commuting. And used, its a great price for what you get.

It is a7 year old approved used VW but drives very well for its age and 60000 miles. No squeaks or rattles. Good ride comfort and refinement. Well built, logical and comfortable interior. Excellent fuel economy. 55-60 mpg on a motorway run. Right sized car. Not too big but with space for 4 adults and our dog and a well shaped/good size boot. À very good all rounder, as you’d expect from a Golf.
I’d like it to have a bit more go. It’s the 130PS 1.5 Bluemotion engine and it is long geared for economy. It can be a bit sluggish at times.
Excellent second hand buy family hatchback. Easy to live with and ideal for all ages/types of buyer.

Great fuel economy. 55-60 mpg on the motorway. Comfortable, refined and easy to drive. Very well built and designed interior with a logical infotainment system and proper knobs and dials. Roomy. No squeaks or rattles despite the car being 7 years/60000 miles old.
It lacks go at times. It’s only 9.9 seconds 0-60 as it’s the 1.5 130 PS Bluemotion engine and is quite long geared.
An excellent all round second hand family car. The Mk 7.5 is the best generation Golf!

Build quality comfort and practicality
I changed the headlight bulbs. For a GT trim, the yellow tint that halogen bulbs are very in-affective and look dated, even in 2013 when new.
Best car I have owned and longest ownership. Iprefer itin allaspects to our family Jaguary f-pace for all but size to swallow the likes of buggies and cricket kit etc.

It has great performance along with everyday usability.
A bigger boot.
I have driven 130,000 miles in the car with very few issues. It's quick enough to be fun but also chews the boring motorway miles quite happily. The boot is relatively small but that's where the 4 wheel drive system lives, so I guess that's the compromise.

It’s a really good dependable family car. Drives well. We all like it.
A bit more go would be good. Quite slow on pick up and acceleration (9 seconds O-60)
Great all rounder. Who doesn’t love a Golf? MK7.5 maybe the best generation so far?
